Hospital Visitations – If you are admitted to the hospital and wish for your church pastoral care team/hospital visitation team or minister to be aware of this when they do hospital rounds and check the list of admitted Presbyterian patients, please ask Admissions to identify you as a Presbyterian in their religious care section (on the admissions module). Normally, Admissions will ask, but sometimes this can be overlooked. If, however, you go through Emergency or Day-Surgery Admissions, you are not normally asked this question and so we encourage you to ask them to note this so we are made aware you are in the hospital and can arrange a visit if desired. If you cannot do this at the time of admission, the patient or next of kin can call from a bedside phone (dial 5019) to have the religious care section filled out in the admitting module.
