Spring Indoor Yard Sale – Friday, Apr 29 from 6 – 8pm and Saturday, Apr 30 from 9am – noon.  During your spring cleaning, please set aside clothing, kitchen items and household goods for this fundraiser.  Donations can be dropped off weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

Thank You to the congregation for your generous support on ‘Soup Sunday’.  We raised over $500 toward the new office photocopier.

Middle and High School Downtown Photo Scavenger Hunt – April 17th from 3:30 to 5:30. We will be taking instant cameras downtown and trying to capture as many listed items as we can in only 10 snapshots. Please let Jordan know if you are interested.

College and Career Dinner – April 24th from 6:30 to 9:30 at Jordan and Candace’s apartment. Drives can be arranged and diets accommodated. Please let Jordan know by Saturday the 23rd if you are interested.

Annual Atlantic Presbyterian Women’s Christian Retreat – April 22 to 24 in Moncton.  Theme: Hurry Up and Slow Down (Resting in the Indwelling of Jesus).  For more information, see brochure available on foyer bulletin board or visit http://atlanticwomenschristianretreat.weebly.com/

Dine-Out Luncheon – Tuesdays 11:00 – 12:45pm from April 6th to May 17th.  Wheels to Meals invites you to come for lunch on Tuesdays! Make new friends and meet old pals at the table. Delicious home-cooked meals and entertainment. It’s the gathering place for seniors wanting to socialize!  Call 458-9482 to register.

Proclamation: The Word of the Lord – May 4 to 13 at Ste. Anne’s Chapel of Ease. The Canadian Bible Society’s goal is to proclaim God’s message in as many communities as possible by the reading aloud of the entire Bible.  Contact Marg Leonard through the Church Office to be part of this sharing of God’s Word.

John Sands in concert – Sunday, May 1 at Knox Presbyterian Church at    7pm. Tickets $12 are available from Marlene Phillips in Wilmot’s Church Office (458-1066). This promises to be a relaxing, enjoyable evening of music followed by delicious refreshments!  Everyone welcome.

Spring Luncheon Bridge – May 5, Nashwaaksis United Church at 12 noon. Cost is $40 per table with proceeds going toward church and community initiatives.  Please contact Sharon at 458-5246 to reserve your table.

For the cost of a donation you can sponsor the weekly bulletin.  Memorials, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Congratulations, etc. will be placed on the front cover the Sunday of your choice.

New Books for our Library! – Five (gently used) Karen Kingsbury novels have been purchased: Beyond Tuesday Morning, Even Now, Family, This Side of Heaven, and Unlocked. They will be displayed on the library table in the Church Hall. As well, four brand new books have been added Fearless by Max Lucado (reviewed in the Spring Link) Seven Things That Steal Your Joy by Joyce Meyer; and two novels with an Easter theme:  Behold the Man by Bodie and Brock Thoene and Risen, the novelization of the major motion picture by Angela Hunt. All books are ready to be signed out.

EASTER SPECIAL OFFERING – an Easter special offering envelope was included with the latest copy of our quarterly newsletter The Link. The budget for this offering is $4,300. At this time of the year when our expenses far exceed revenues, the need to maintain a positive cash flow is important to our financial health. You are urged to prayerfully consider making a contribution to this appeal.  Thank you.
