Church Corn Boil – This Sunday, Sept 18th , join us following the worship service for our Annual Fellowship Corn Boil! Hot, fresh corn as well as beverages will be provided… you bring your favourite pot luck dishes and desserts.

College and Career Dinner – Saturday, September 17th. New location same great food, fun and fellowship.

Jr/Sr High School Kickoff Event – Friday, September 23rd at Odell Park.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Group will be resuming on September 20th at 9:30am.  We’ll meet in the kitchen and enjoy each other’s company along with a cup of coffee/tea, some lovely goodies and devotions. Please come and join us.

Lady of the Lake Concert – with Maureen Batt, Soprano, Jon-Paul Decosse, Bass-Baritone and Simon Docking, Piano.  September 18th, 7:00 pm here at Saint Andrew’s. Concert will feature a new Canadian Song Cycle by Nova Scotia composer, Fiona Ryan, and Schubert’s Op. 52.  Both works are inspired by Sir Walter Scott’s poem “Lady of the Lake,” Admission at the door is $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for Seniors and Students.  Reception to follow in the Church Hall.  Please join us for an outstanding evening of musical entertainment.

Scouts / Girl Guides – Beavers, Cubs and Scouts meet Tuesday evenings. Sparks, Brownies and Guides meet on Wednesdays.

Terry Fox Run –  Sept. 18 at Queen’s Square. Registration at 12noon, with the first race starting at 1pm.  Silent Auction, for everyone to bid on, whether you’re participating in the races or not.

I Tromboni Concert – The “Team Canada of Trombones” will be presenting a concert for the whole family on Sunday, Sept 25, 6:30 pm at Brunswick Street Baptist Church. Freewill offering.  Refreshments to follow.

Music on the Hill Presents – Dissonant Grooves on Wednesday, Sept 28th at 12:00pm Memorial Hall. This free noon hour program will put a spring in your step for the rest of the day!

Plant Therapy – Tues. Aug 30, 2:00 pm at Regent Hall Patio, Shannex Parkland.  Janet Phillips a registered horticultural therapist will lead a talk and discussion on the impact and importance of plants, nature and gardening on our intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional and physical health.  This is a free event open to the public.  For further information, please contact reception at 450-8260.

Grief Share – Beginning Thursday, Sept 8 at 7:00 pm, in the Family Room at Brunswick Street Baptist Church. A 13-week video series by Christian experts on grief and recovery. Please call 458-8348 for more information.

Dulcinaya, a New Brunswick duo composed of Line Michaud, violin and voice, and Carolyn Holyoke, piano, will present an evening concert of World Music on Sunday, August 21st, 7:00 pm here at Saint Andrew’s.  Both musicians bring to this collaboration, an abundance of cultural influence, including Celtic, Acadian, and Latin, creating a sound that is all-embracing and at times mystical.  Admission to the concert is by free will offering with reception to follow in the Church Hall.  Please join us for an outstanding evening of musical entertainment.
