Synod Education Workshop 2017

So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in numbers daily.       (Acts 16:5)

Regardless of size, whether a congregation is presently a dynamic, vigorous fellowship or is struggling to sustain its present level of vitality, every congregation may use the Acts 16:5 Initiative as a means of considering present and future ministry and of moving by God’s grace into a new chapter of life and ministry. Participants will engage in a deliberate process of congregational transformation through conversation, leadership, counsel, and encouragement using the Acts 16:5 Initiative.

Workshop with Dr. E. Stanley Ott

Retirement Reception

Following worship on Sunday, February 26,  a reception was held to celebrate over 25 years of  ministry of the Rev. Doug Blaikie with Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, upon the occasion of his retirement. Food and fellowship were shared and presentations were made; enjoy a sample of the festivities in the pictures below.

We wish all the best for Doug and Holly as they enter the next phase of their lives!

Annual Meeting 2017

Following worship on Sunday, February 12, 2017, we gathered in the Church Hall for a hearty lunch and an emotion-packed Annual Congregational Meeting (our minister will be retiring at the end of the month). Reports from committees and groups were received and celebrated. We  approved the budget for 2017, appointed various congregational representatives and thanked many volunteers for their efforts over the past year.

Love Sunday

There was not much to love about the stormy weather outside, but for the brave souls in worship Sunday, December 18, 2016 (also know as Advent IV or Love Sunday), the music, readings and meditation made the morning special.

If you missed the service, we record all our services on CD, which can be borrowed from the library in the Church Hall.
