Make-A-Wish^® Atlantic Provinces has granted Jack Leifso’s wish for a Star Wars themed bedroom makeover!  The Leifso family, via Skype, received this great news on Tuesday afternoon.  Make-A-Wish will send the family to a hotel while a reno team comes in for the Bedroom Make-over, which will include a communications hub to keep in touch with other family members. The makeover will include light sabres,  Star Wars character statues, removable wall murals, and a desk for study.  Plus some surprises to be unveiled upon their return!

Jack Leifso, while in treatment at the IWK in Halifax, is pictured with one of the 30 cyclists who pedaled their way from Vancouver to Halifax in 18 days. The annual event brings together cancer survivors and supporters to raise money for childhood cancer programs. Jack is a member of our Children’s Choir.
