Obtaining a Wedding License

Before you can be married you must obtain a Marriage License. Marriage Licenses in New Brunswick are obtained from Service NB. Couples may phone Service NB to make an appointment and both members of the couple are required to attend the appointment at the time of application. There is a cost associated with a marriage license.

Two witnesses, who are at least 19 years of age are required to solemnize each marriage. Witnesses are required to sign the Marriage Register along with the Bride and Groom and the Minister.

Church organist, David Berry (506-453-9301) provides music direction for weddings held in the church. We urge you to contact him early in your planning. He will be happy to assist you in choosing any special music you might want. The music you choose should reflect the religious nature of a Church Wedding.

Rehearsal time can be set when arrangements are made for the wedding ceremony.
