Birthdays are a blessing.  Do we have your birthday on our list?  Birthday Sunday is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month and throughout the month with birthday phone calls.  If we don’t currently have your birthday recorded, please let the office know at 455-8220 or

Paintball – Due to unforeseen circumstances, the youth group paintball activity scheduled for Saturday afternoon has been cancelled.

Dark Games – Jr/Sr high school event at the church on Nov 12th, 6:00 to 8:00PM.

Search Committee – will meet on November 15 at 6:30pm.

Congregational Meeting – Please join us following worship service on November 19th for the purpose of discussing the findings of the congregational survey.  Elder election ballots will also be distributed at this time.

Reconciliation – For those who participated in the “blanket exercise” last year and/or are interested in furthering reconciliation with Canada’s native peoples, please register at to watch the live stream of Rev. Dr. Margaret Mullin’s presentation of the Charles H. MacDonald Lecture at Knox College, ‘Reconciliation is Negotiating the Rapids Together’. The lecture is Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 1:30 – 5:30 pm (NB time).  Margaret is Executive Director of Winnipeg Inner City Missions ( ), has New Brunswick roots in the Miramichi area and is a sister of Bill Mullin who was an active member of the Session at Saint Andrew’s for many years.

Cookie Dough – The cookie dough has arrived, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, ginger and shortbread at $10 a tub, an easy way to bake cookies. The sale is a fund raiser for the Mission Committee. For pickup see Juliet Davis on Sunday.

Parking Restrictions – Winter parking restrictions are now in effect on along Carleton Street as well as other nearby streets.  Please watch for winter parking restriction signs and follow city by-laws to avoid ticketing.

The Link – Do you have a poem, story, recipe or article you think would be of interest to others? Preparations are underway for the Advent issue of “The Link”.  Deadline for submissions is November 5th.  Please send material to the church office.

Ten Thousand Villages – Fair Trade Gift Sale Fri, Nov 17th, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm & Sat, Nov 18th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Wilmot United Church. Admission is free.
