Youth and Graduate Sunday 2016

On Sunday June 19, 2016 we gathered for an all-ages worship service, followed by a hearty BBQ, to celebrate the conclusion of another school year, thank our teachers and congratulate those graduating from high school and university. We also bid good-bye to a much loved family, who are returning to their family roots in British Columbia.

As is our custom, we celebrated the birthdays of all those born in the month of June on the first Sunday of the month. A few of the celebrants are pictured below. The Junior Choir sang “On Eagle’s Wings” during worship.

What a wonderful combination to celebrate—the baptism of two young ladies and the birthdays of all those in our congregation born in the month of May.
