Vacation Bible School 2015

VBS2015-LogoChildren and leaders (and during Sunday worship, the entire Saint Andrew’s congregation) participated in a down-under themed Outback Rock Weekend Adventure, Saturday and Sunday mornings, June 27 & 28, 2015.

By all accounts, a fun time was had by all, but we’ll let you be the judge!

Gathering together for songs,
Opening Skit
and an opening skit,
plus crafts,
And More Games!
and more games
equals a happy group!

Thank-you Jacqueline and your whole team!

The Vacation Bible School would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the people who volunteered, the children that attended, the people who offered food and those that prayed for VBS.

(See the Vacation Bible School page for general VBS information.)

World Refugee Day Celebrated

Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and the Multicultural Association of Fredericton celebrated World Refugee Day, Saturday, June 20, with a family Walk with Refugees.

IMG_1607As we passed by houses built by Fredericton’s first wave of refugees and their families, we stopped to hear stories about their contributions to the new community of Fredericton.

Walk with Refugees

Please join a family Walk with Refugees starting from the Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church lawn (512 Charlotte St.) at 1:30pm on World Refugee Day, Saturday, June 20. The 1-hour walk, organized in partnership with the Multicultural Association of Fredericton, will pass by houses built by Fredericton’s first wave of refugees, through the early cemetery and return to the church. Participants will learn how important refugees have been and how they continue to enrich our community. On return to Saint. Andrew’s church, we will share lemonade on the lawn. Rain date is Saturday, July 4th.
