Upcoming Events at SAPC:

•On Thursday, January 24th @ 6pm we will have our first                Praise & Pizza evening. It is an all invited, all welcome, time of worship and food in the church hall. Bring a friend!

 

• Youth Event: Snow Fort building – Sunday, January 27th at the church. Hot chocolate and snacks to follow.

• On February 26th a new Winter Bible study will begin. The subject will be the prophet Jonah. There is nothing to buy. All materials will be supplied. The study will begin on the 26th at 11am in the kitchen and run for 4 consecutive weeks (weather permitting). It will be a “whale of a time!”

World Day of Prayer Planning MeetingPlease note change in date to: Monday, January 28 at 10:00 am at Christ Church Parish Church. Women of all denominations of faith are encouraged to come help plan for the World Day of Prayer to be held on March 1 when we join with 170 Countries to pray for justice and peace.

Update from Mission Development & Social Action Committee:
• 15 tubs of cookie dough left. Pick some up today! Proceeds from this fundraiser go toward helping those in need of food and clothing.

• The Alkreiz family appreciated the Christmas gift of $240 from our refugee fund. Thank you to all those that continue to contribute to this fund. The next financial challenge for the family will be the cost of pursuing Canadian citizenship and the necessary additional language training.
