“A Light When All Others Seem Dark” offers that opportunity to catch your breath, cast off your burdens, and allow the tranquility and calm of God’s love, peace, joy, and hope wash over you. This Candlelight service offers quiet music, thoughtful reflections, and a chance to light your own candle. Everyone is encouraged to come, rest, renew and relax for a time. Advent Season Bible Study – Join in around the gathering table in the kitchen on Tuesday morning at 11 am (Dec 18).
College and Career Dinner – Acadian Christmas dinner on Saturday, December 15th from 6:30 to 9:30 at Jordan and Candace’s place in Maugerville. We will be trying some special recipes from an Acadian cookbook. Drives can be arranged, and diets accommodated. Please let Jordan or Candace know if you are interested.
Youth Event – Mall Photo Scavenger hunt: Sunday, December 16th from 3:00 to 4:30 pm (please note time change). Meet at the Cineplex/Chapters entrance. Please let Jordan know if you plan to attend.
2019 Offering Envelopes – are at the back of the sanctuary. If you are not on our list and would like to receive offering envelopes, please contact the church office.
Donations to be included in the income tax receipt for 2018 must be received no later than December 31st or postmarked by that date. All donations in the offering plates on January 6, 2019 must be recorded in 2019.
Cookie Dough – Christmas baking made easy! There are 2 oatmeal raisin, 12 chocolate chip and 8 shortbread tubs left. Pick up a tub on Sunday for only $10/tub. All proceeds go toward helping those in need of food and clothing.

As of December 9, the moving fund has $6,000 out of an planned $8000. As shown on the map, our virtual moving van is midway between Whitworth and Couturier, QC (a distance of 1200 km out of 1600).
