Resurrection Eggs – Children’s Story
We may not be meeting together but we can certainly continue on with the Resurrection Eggs Story. Today is EASTER and this is our last egg. Look inside the white egg…IT’S EMPTY!!
Are you surprised? When two women came to the tomb of Jesus, they were surprised. The heavy stone was rolled aside, and the tomb was empty. Jesus body was not there. The angel told them, “He has risen”. Jesus had come back to life.
This was the promise that Jesus had made to his disciples. Someday, because he died for us, we can meet Him and thank Him in heaven.

Palm Sunday
Today, Sunday, April 5 is Palm Sunday! In the spirit of decorating our front windows, as we have been doing with rainbows, teddy bears and all manner of uplifting pictures, let’s cover our windows with palm branches this Sunday and leave them until the following Sunday when we can replace them with a cross.
Resurrection Egg – Children’s Story
We may not be meeting together but we can certainly continue on with the Resurrection Eggs Story. This week we have….
In the dark pink egg…a stone. The stone that was rolled in front of Jesus’ tomb was much larger than the stone in this egg. It was as big as a door and probably weighed more than a car!
After Jesus was buried, soldiers were assigned to stand guard at the tomb. But these men were no match for God’s angel! It took just one angel to roll the stone away. Where did the angel get it’s strength? From GOD.
