Dulcinaya, a New Brunswick duo composed of Line Michaud, violin and voice, and Carolyn Holyoke, piano, will present an evening concert of World Music on Sunday, August 21st, 7:00 pm here at Saint Andrew’s.  Both musicians bring to this collaboration, an abundance of cultural influence, including Celtic, Acadian, and Latin, creating a sound that is all-embracing and at times mystical.  Admission to the concert is by free will offering with reception to follow in the Church Hall.  Please join us for an outstanding evening of musical entertainment.

Summer Hymn Sing – The congregation of Brunswick Street Baptist Church invites you to join them on Wednesday, August 10, 7 pm for an evening hymn sing accompanied by David (organ) and Leah Steeves (piano) .  The hymn sing will be followed by an Ice Cream Social.  All are welcome!

Soulful Classics Concert – Angelina Lynne, Soprano, and Emily Logan, Piano will present a Summer Concert, “Soulful Classics,” on Thursday, August 4th, 7:00 pm here at Saint Andrew’s.  The concert will feature Classical and Art Songs, Hymns and Spirituals, and will include both vocal and piano solos.  Angelina Lynne has performed in recital, opera, musical theatre, jazz and Early Music ensembles and is currently on the music faculty at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.   Emily Logan, from Moncton, has given solo, collaborative and chamber music recitals and will begin the Doctor of Musical Arts Program in Piano performance at the University of British Columbia in September.  Admission to the concert is by Free Will offering with reception to follow in the Church Hall.

Yard Sale, Supper & Auction – July 23 at Knox Presbyterian Church in Harvey. Yard Sale at 8 am.  Supper is 4 to 6pm. Menu:  Barbequed chicken, potato & pasta salads, homemade rolls, assorted pies, tea & coffee.  Auction at 7pm.  Everyone welcome.

Greener Village Garden Social Fundraiser – Wed, July 20 from 6 to 9 pm. You are invited to this 2^nd annual fundraiser hosted by the Greener Village Community Food Centre to raise funds for their Roots to Wings capital campaign. This is the only fundraiser the food bank hosts and it directly supports its needs as an organization: building and vehicle maintenance and upgrades, expansions, and funding for new programs and services.  Guests can expect stone fired pizzas from our outdoor oven and a wide selection of appetizers from the culinary team at the Ramada Fredericton. Live music, live painting, and fire spinning will be present as entertainment as well as a silent auction.
