Soup on Sunday! – April 3rd after worship.  Hosted by the Tuesday Morning Ladies Group.  Come and enjoy a bowl of soup, rolls and dessert and help defray the cost to upgrade our copier.

College & Career Dinner – Sunday, April 3, 6:30 to 9 pm. Homemade food at Jordan and Candace’s place. Drives can be arranged and diets accommodated. Let Jordan know by Sat. the 26th if you are interested.

New Books for our Library! – Five (gently used) Karen Kingsbury novels have been purchased: Beyond Tuesday Morning, Even Now, Family, This Side of Heaven, and Unlocked. They will be displayed on the library table in the Church Hall. As well, four brand new books have been added Fearless by Max Lucado (reviewed in the Spring Link) Seven Things That Steal Your Joy by Joyce Meyer; and two novels with an Easter theme:  Behold the Man by Bodie and Brock Thoene and Risen, the novelization of the major motion picture by Angela Hunt. All books are ready to be signed out.

EASTER SPECIAL OFFERING – an Easter special offering envelope was included with the latest copy of our quarterly newsletter The Link. The budget for this offering is $4,300. At this time of the year when our expenses far exceed revenues, the need to maintain a positive cash flow is important to our financial health. You are urged to prayerfully consider making a contribution to this appeal.  Thank you.

Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony – April 3 at 3:00 pm at Wilmot United Church. Performed by the Fredericton Symphony Orchestra, Fredericton Choral Society and UNB Chorale with soloists Sally Dibblee, Paula Rockwell, Colin Frotten and Paul Bustin. Tickets available at Reads Newsstand or at the door.

Children’s Choir will resume Friday, March 18th at 4:00 pm in the Church Hall. All children, ages 3 – Middle School who enjoy singing or music activities are welcome!  For further information, please contact Kathie or David Berry.

Jr/Sr High School Big Box Games Night – Sunday, March 20th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  For the first time this year we will be bringing out the big cardboard boxes for a night of fun at the church. Games, prizes and snacks. Feel free to bring friends!

World Day of Prayer 2016

Receive children. Receive me.

Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church hosted the 2016 Ecumenical World Day of Prayer Service in Fredericton on March 6, 2016. The service was written by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Cuba and adapted for use in Canada by the Womens’s Inter-Church Council of Canada.
